For the first time since I can remember, I consistently have weekends off. Not only that, but I don't have to work at 5:30 am, either. I've been getting things organized, hanging out with friends, and even car shopping (eeeeep!). I must say— it's pretty nice. Tea with my babe. Snuggles with the cat. A pot full of stew. I'm still working a lot and trying to sort out a bunch of stuff (becoming a grown up is strange. . . ) but it feels like things are falling into place more and more. Life is pretty great around these parts. I hope the view from where you are was as nice as my litte Sunday off!
i just got a full-time m-f job too. weekends off is awesome!!

I looooove your kitty! She looks so sweet. I'm just starting to substitute teach (Not really a legit "big kid job" but during grad school it's alright) And I'm going to have weekends and holidays off. I'm so excited!!
ReplyDeleteYay for weekends off!!! Your kitty is TOO SWEET!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of this. I miss having weekends and/or two days off in a row so badly. I'm not even going to mention how cute Olive is because you both already know.
ReplyDeleteyes— "weekend" basically just means two days off in a row to me. i never realized how much i missed them!
DeleteWhat a sweet kitty! Kitty snuggles are one of the best parts of time at home :) Your job with Kerfluffles sounds so fun and reading about it made me crave a sweet treat!
ReplyDeleteIt's the best feeling when things seem to be coming in order. I'm glad you're feeling like life is more consistent and manageable. Enjoy those days off!
